Linda was born in San Francisco, California but grew up in Wichita, Kanas. She graduated from Wichita State University in 2018 after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She chose the dental field because she “wants to make a positive impact on the community’s oral health and overall health.” When asked her favorite part of her job, Linda said “Establishing trusting relationships with patients is what makes my job rewarding. I love working at Central Park Dental because I am a part of an incredible team that genuinely cares about our patients as individuals”.

In her spare time, Linda enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves doing activities with her son, such as fishing, swimming, and going to the park. She enjoys weight training and yoga. She is also a foodie, so she loves exploring DFW and trying new delicious food! Linda is also a volunteer at Mission of Mercy, a charitable project that provides basic dental care to the community.

Melissa Recio

Melissa Recio has been a part of the team at Central Park Dental for three years. You will find her working hard at the front desk, but she is a trained Dental Assistant as well. On the weekends, she works as an Ortho Assistant, too. It is no surprise Dr. Jung calls Melissa her “go-to person”!

Born and raised in Texas, Melissa graduated in 2017 with her Dental Assistant license from Concorde Career Institute in Grand Prairie. She has always been determined to work in a healthcare profession. She chose the dental field because for her, the first thing she notices about someone is their smile. She loves to see patients “regain their confidence” after an appointment. Her favorite part about her job is getting to interact with patients. “ I love to help patients get the smile they always have wanted as well as make others feel good about themselves. I am very patient oriented and love to hear positive feedback of they’re experience with us. So I always try my best to treat all patients like family and give them the best care”.

Melissa’s favorite part about her job is being able to help in both the front and back of the office. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband and five-year-old son, Emmanuel.

Bart Miller, DDS, MS

Dr. Bart Miller has an extensive educational background and experience in helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. He is a residency-trained specialist in orthodontics and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists®.

He was born and raised in Rockwall. After attending Rice University on an ROTC scholarship, Dr. Miller graduated and was commissioned in the U.S. Navy as a surface warfare officer. Accepted into the Naval Nuclear Propulsion program, he served on board the guided-missile cruiser USS Truxtun, stationed in Washington state. Following his service, he went to dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating with honors, then on to his orthodontic residency at Baylor College of Dentistry, currently known as the Texas A&M College of Dentistry.

“After deciding that I didn’t want to make a career in the Navy, I considered a number of different fields and talked to a lot of people, but none of them seemed particularly excited about what they did. My dad was an orthodontist, and I realized that he LOVED what he did. As I kept exploring my options, it began to look more and more appealing to me.”

Dr. Miller has been practicing since 2001 and has loved every minute of it! Getting to know patients and their families, while helping them achieve their goal of a great smile, has been very rewarding.
